Lechwe is situated in the middle of the Copperbelt in the heart of Kitwe. As an independent, co-educational school catering for children from two to eighteen years of age, it provides an exclusive choice for family education needs.
Lechwe is a school of contrasts, offering a traditional English language education in a country school setting. We aim to develop well-balanced, disciplined young women and men through a curricular, extra-curricular and pastoral programme which is designed to foster the growth of each individual through focused learning, participation, spontaneity and leadership. Our alumni have already made their mark on society through committed participation in academics, sport, culture and service to others.
Teachers, parents and students are committed to good conduct and the practice of integrity, honesty, sincerity, sensitivity and a willingness to help others achieve their full potential. This results in a culture of the highest ethical and moral principles. Perhaps the greatest indication that we are achieving our aims is the array of happy, smiling faces as our students enter the school each morning and leave at the end of a busy, fruitful day.
